I Cor. 1:22 – How are we foolish today?

• Jews – tradition, letter of the law, practical (is this our foolishness?), need evidence


• Greeks – Acts 17:21 They sat around speculating on philosophy, proud of their intellect and reasoning.

Can we accept a God that is so gracious?

The preaching of the Cross has great effect, though seen foolish.

Exodus 20:1-7

Are these God’s requirements for salvation? Or does 20:2 represent our reason to follow and be saved?
